JR dog training is great! Our puppy is a very excited little guy and had some aggression issues. with consistent training and JR’s training tips , I can honestly say we have seen a big improvement and our puppy now has no aggression issues anymore and is much more controlled when he is excited. JR is great and truly cares about your pup and the progress being made. He makes a big effort to connect with your pup and make sure he is comfortable.

I’ve attended a handful of sessions so far, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! We’re training a 1 year old Maltipoo who is generally good, but we wanted to improve her ability to respond to commands. The results have been immediate and impressive! JR is clear and direct with his training methods, and they produce great results. I would certainly recommend his services for any dog training needs!

JR knows what he’s doing. He teaches the owner how to command their dog in progressions, so the owner can practice at home. Each class he builds on what was learned with the intention of eventually having the dog off leash. He is a firm teacher because he cares about your dog’s progress and wants owners to get results. JR gives you the tools and you have to apply them if you want to see improvement. We are seeing progress with our golden retriever. Thanks JR!

I totally trust and highly recommend JR Dog Training. I trained my first dog with Joe 16 years ago, and now I’m back with my 2 German Shepherds, yes 2 dogs at the same time. Joe is a professional, easy to follow, step by step clear instructions. After only my fifth lesson both of my dogs sit, stay, and heal with me while walking without a leash. As being someone who’s been around dogs for over 30 years, you realize that one of the biggest reasons of having a “bad dog”, is not because of the dog itself but because of the owner. Being just a dog owner is not enough and watching YouTube videos may be helpful but they’re not specific to the dog that requires training. Like people, dogs have unique personalities too and it’s important to learn skills to teach you how to deal with each dog uniquely.
